A brief History...

The Elite Cattery was setup by myself and my father, F.J.H Morgan vetenary practitioner formerly of Crouch End N8.

Whilst looking for a possible base for a Cattery, we came across these premises (A vacant and run down building/stables originally owned by the Sainsbury Bros for housing their horses and carts used for supply)

The business commenced in 1969 with spaces for 16 cats and was ministry licensed and approved.

Unfortunately my father passed away in 1971 at the young age of 56 and I became the sole proprietor.

Fate smiled at me when Mr & Mrs Hill, two veterinary surgeons took over my fathers surgery and they have been to this day of tremendous help, both professionally and advisory to me and the Elite Cattery.

The Cattery now has the capacity to hold 280 cats and in an adjacent purpose built bunnery -'Bunny Villas' we have spaces, hutch & run for 24 rabbits/guinea pigs. We also cater for ferrets and the occasional tortoise!!

Over the 43 years of being in business and a programme of continual improvements and facilities, it is now I hope a premier cattery with residential staff and ample spaces for residents with various aerobic areas for exercise and 'fun' for the boarders.
